It was a foggy morning when Dennis (a friend of mine) and I took a short trip by car from Kaliningrad to Poland to see the castle of Malbork.

This castle is the biggest in the world among all castles located by the sea. The world’s largest medieval brick castle. One of the standards of Gothic architecture. Majestic, severe, ascetic and laconic “Marienburg” – the Malbork Castle in Poland.

The air was crisp but heavy, the history was all around. The fog kept coming and pursued us, exacerbating the already mysterious atmosphere of the castle.
